High Power Multi-IQ+
Multi-IQ+ is the newest generation of Minelab’s Simultaneous Multi-Frequency engine from Minelab, building on the success of the original Multi-IQ. Multi-IQ+ transmits more power through the coil at a wider frequency range, to light up more targets in the ground. The completely revamped signal processing provides enhanced discrimination, greater Target ID resolution, improved target separation and gives you a greater ability to tune discrimination and audio to suit your detecting conditions.
Powerful 2D ID Map
MANTICORE’s 2D ID Map is a powerful visual tool that displays both the ferrous and conductive characteristics of a detected target. This dual-axis display helps you quickly determine whether a target is worth digging, enabling smarter decision-making in the field. With detailed classification, custom discrimination patterns and precise audio control, you can accept or reject targets with confidence. The system allows you to assign tones, adjust volume across five tone regions and receive clear, reliable audio responses tailored to your preference. This level of control leads to faster recoveries, fewer unwanted digs and more time spent on valuable finds.
Fast Response
MANTICORE’s adjustable recovery speed, ranging from 0 to 8, lets you fine-tune how quickly the detector responds to consecutive targets. Increase the speed to separate closely spaced targets in trash-heavy ground, or slow it down to enhance detection depth on isolated finds.
Enhanced Discrimination
With custom Ferrous Limits, you gain advanced control over target discrimination. Accept valuable ferrous coins, reject unwanted iron or optimise unmasking in complex ground. Combined with improved Target ID stability and precise target separation, MANTICORE delivers accuracy where it counts.
Audio Your Way
MANTICORE puts you in control of your audio experience. Adjust target tones from 1, 2 or 5-tone options, or select 1, 2 or 5-region All Tones to suit your preferences. Suppress unwanted EMI chatter and take advantage of Continuous Pitch (VCO) audio with ferrous response and a true threshold detection tone. These advanced audio settings help you interpret signals more precisely and detect with greater confidence.
Unrivalled Construction
With an IP68 rating, you can dive up to 5 m (16 ft) for underwater exploration. MANTICORE’s three-piece, highly collapsible carbon fibre shaft makes it easy to pack and transport. The lightweight design weighs just 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs) and collapses to 63 cm (24.8 in) for all-day comfort. Its full-colour LCD display provides excellent visibility in any light, with 10 manual backlight levels and an auto-adjust option to suit changing conditions.
